First post: 20.1.18; This one is permanently at the top as a main header post.  It is a ten minute FREE video lesson on how you make a stained glass copper foil light catcher. Download accompanying list of materials and cut-line template here.

27.4.18. Here you are my fabulous 18 followers, I've posted a load of videos since my last entry on 9th Feb.  I've been busy at London School of Supernatural Ministry consuming the Word and growing in my inmost being; consuming biscuits and growing in my waist-line; and personally seeing Jesus do about twenty five miracles in five months! I have also been posting a drawing a day on Facebook.  I had a lot of fun shooting the below videos last summer, the drawing time lapse was shot last month and the gorgeous mom and baby was drawn today.

Posts 9.2.18: Christ Church Lincolnshire memorial window with video of me talking about it, Rollesby church window with video of me, domestic window in Sevenoaks with video of me talking about a spiritual quality of stained glass, Radford Semele Leamington Spa resurrection window with video of me, St Paul's Clapham panel with time lapse video of leading of it.

6.2.18; A video of me in my studio having lunch and talking to Jeff Camilleri about how I became a stained glass artist. To the left is an image of my first church window in Sparham Church in Norfolk (2008).  I have a degree from Roehampton University in "Art for the Community", which taught me to work to commission (1999). My tutor was the wonderful Delia Whitbread. I later won the Award for Excellence with the Worshipful Company of Glaziers and Painters of Glass, during which I was taught glass painting by Leonie Seliger of Canterbury Cathedral Studios.  I also had work placements at Holy Well Glass, Chapel Studios, Erfurt Fachhochschule, Derix Studios and Peters Studios. I never had a placement at Barley Studios, I don't know why I said that.  Barley usually give work placement training for that award.

31.1.18; I'm so excited about my blog and very grateful to my...THIRTEEN SO FAR!...subscribers (thank you guys!) for signing up to see the videos about being a stained glass artist that I'm going to post on here, as well as my stained glass and my drawings.  I'm really having fun doing this and hope you enjoy it. Please comment at the bottom about what you like and don't like and subscribe at the bottom if you haven't already.  Remember you're amazing! Lots of love. Emma

  1. Loved hearing how your artistic skill and practice developed and especially to hear that you weren’t particularly skilled as a secretary. I believe that’s often the way with an artistic talent and temperament. However, I found the cup of soup distracting. Thanks much for sharing your life experience.

  2. Thanks Judith! I appreciate your encouragement and your honesty. I will leave the video on my blog for now and in due course I will re-shoot it without the cup of soup. I really valuye the feedback. Emma
